Andy Gartrell is a remarkable one-man band musician hailing from the vibrant music scene of Wellington, New Zealand. With over a decade of experience, Andy has carved a niche for himself as a versatile and captivating performer, known for his ability to craft a rich, full-band sound entirely on his own.

A notable highlight of Andy's career includes performing to thousands of guests across the globe, having served as a Principal Musician on Norwegian Cruise Line—where he also appeared in the internationally acclaimed production The Choir of Man aboard the Norwegian Escape, playing the role of “The Beast.” Continuing his journey on international waters, Andy now performs with Royal Caribbean. Currently featured on board Icon of the Seas, his previous sailings with the cruise line include appearances on Symphony of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas throughout 2025.
